About Imam Hussain (AS)
Imam Hussain ibn Ali (AS) was the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the third Imam in Shia Islam. Born in 626 CE in Medina, he was raised in the household of prophecy and became known for his piety, generosity, and unwavering commitment to justice.
In 680 CE, Imam Hussain refused to pledge allegiance to the corrupt Umayyad caliph Yazid. Rather than compromise his principles, he traveled toward Kufa with his family and a small group of companions. They were intercepted at Karbala, where on the 10th of Muharram (Ashura), Imam Hussain and 72 of his companions were martyred in an unequal battle against thousands.
The sacrifice at Karbala became a defining moment in Islamic history. Imam Hussain's stand against tyranny continues to inspire millions worldwide with its message: it is better to die with honor than to live under oppression. His famous words, "Death with dignity is better than a life of humiliation," resonate through the centuries.
Our Imam Hussain wallpapers honor this legacy with beautiful imagery of his holy shrine, powerful calligraphy, and scenes from the annual Arbaeen pilgrimage. Each wallpaper serves as a reminder of the values Imam Hussain stood for — truth, justice, and sacrifice.
